The human brain chooses obliviousness, avoidance, denial, distraction, rejection, refusal to acknowledge, a suspension of belief, alternate realities, insularity, self-absorption. There is no community, no support, no true comradery. There is no effectual compassion, no true charity, no true hospitality, no true magnanimity.
